The North Wind

wish dandelion gif

The North Wind blew
In that bleak Northern Town
That she hated so much
That caused her to frown
With the cold breeze howling
She took to the skies
Felt hot sunny rays
In a warm paradise
She followed the sun
Travelled the earth
Till twist of fate brought her
To the land of her birth
The North Wind echoed
Chilled all her bones
So the gentle sun called her
To find a new home
She drew a line in the sand
Put on a coat
Harnessed the Wind
In a beautiful boat
New horizons brought safety
From the sharp icy gales
She was glad she’d moved on
With the wind in her sails
